I visited here while visiting family in the area. The food was good, and hot, and the service was prompt, courteous, and attentive.

If I could give this place an extra star I would. The food here is to die for, especially the pizza. My boyfriend and I like to come on Mondays when it's half off and boy is it a steal. The place is clean and we never have to wait to be seated. What stood out to me the most was the other day we placed a carryout order and they had made it incorrectly. They were so kind about it and remade the food quickly and kept the other food we had warm. They went above an beyond my expectations. This place is truly one of a kind. Highly recommend!

Went there with my wife on our way to the airport, heading home. I didn't get the name of the girl behind the bar but she was friendly and competent. I was glad to see they had Sam Adams Octoberfest on tap since it had just come out. I had a tall one while my wife had a margarita which she liked very much. We had the steak bites which were tender and smothered in gravy and mushrooms and was excellent. We also got the wings with Lemon Pepper sauce. I asked for well-done and flats only and that's exactly what we got. The wings were large and very good. We also got samplers of a couple other beers they had on tap. The restaurant and ambiance were very cool and I wish we had one here in Florida. They do a very good job.

Food was great staff was friendly. Had a great work outing. Coworkers raved about the drinks as well.

I ordered the spinach dip and a chicken Caesar wrap. Both dishes were pretty good and satisfying. The spinach dip was creamy and well-seasoned, making it a great starter. The chicken Caesar wrap was fresh and flavorful, with a nice balance of ingredients. While nothing particularly stood out to me as exceptional, the overall quality of the food and the friendly service made for an enjoyable meal. The ambiance of the restaurant was also welcoming and comfortable, which added to the positive experience.

Finally! Another food chapter on the Roadtrip to the Parental Units! Honestly, I was headed for a different restaurant. Google Maps had me criss-crossing all over town, so I'm not surprised. However, it might have been fate that brought me to Johnny Black's Public House. Who am I to question? The patio space looked really nice, but the weather was in typical Michigan-mode, unsure if it wanted to rain or not. I stepped inside and moseyed myself to the bar. The bartender was already cleaning the spot in front of me and greeted me warmly. After a quick chat I ordered a tall Atwater Dirty Blonde (local brew) while she fetched the menu. The choices were too numerous to mention. I looked around but it was after lunch and I didn't see any plates for ideas. I decided to stick with the fish theme and ordered the grilled cod tacos. They arrived quickly and MAN, they were huge! See that picture? That's not a load of cabbage, my friends. These babies were loaded with fish, to the point that I made a mess and darn near wore my lunch. They tasted so good, I had to eat them all (though I was surprised that I finished them). The bartender checked on me a few times and was friendly to everyone around me, calling most folks by name. I can see why the regulars hang around here. Friendly service and good food would keep me coming back, too!

Taco Tuesday FTW! Met a friend here for dinner. So glad I did Have been eating frozen pizza everyday and pretty sick of it I ordered the chicken taco dinner. Absolutely what I needed. Fresh ingredients, nice presentation, great service! Highly recommend you stop by on Taco Tuesday!!
